Nikkei 225 at 33,000, worth watching

Nikkei 225 looks interesting here. After that strong run, we've seen it hover around the 33,000 mark for a bit, almost like it's catching its breath. There's a decent support zone, I think, around 32,800 that's held up a few times recently. If it can maintain above that, we might see another leg up, possibly targeting the 33,500-33,700 area. The risk for me is a clear break and sustained close below 32,500; that would invalidate the current thesis and could lead to a deeper retracement.

I agree it's an interesting level. The question is whether the domestic institutional buying can continue to absorb any profit-taking from foreign investors who've had a strong run in the past year.
