Is the Hang Seng's recent resilience sustainable or just a dead cat bounce?

Seeing $LDO up today alongside other seemingly uncorrelated assets, it makes me wonder if the recent positive price action in the Hang Seng is more indicative of a broader sentiment shift towards Asia or simply short-term noise before a deeper retracement. Am I missing something crucial in the macro picture, or is this just another trap? Push back if you think I'm off base.

It's a good question. While some of the correlation might just be market noise, I do think a broader sentiment shift is worth considering, especially if global liquidity keeps improving. Hard to say if it's sustainable, but I'm watching for how long this risk-on appetite actually lasts.

The Hang Seng's recent move, while notable, is still largely within a broader downtrend. One could argue it's a technical bounce, but I'd need to see more sustained volume and a clear break of key resistance levels before calling it a sentiment shift. Without a fundamental change in China's economic outlook, it's difficult to see long-term sustainability.
