KWEB Breaking $30 by End of July?

asked by u/arslan_mehmet · 2d · 3 answers

Considering the current momentum and relative strength in tech, I'm giving KWEB about a 60% chance of breaching the $30 mark by the end of July. We're seeing consistent daily ranges, like today's $28.405-$28.69, building a base. The previous resistance at $29.50-$29.80 will be key, but macro tailwinds seem to be supporting the sector, offering a reasonable push. Not a certainty, but the odds feel slightly skewed to the upside.

Interesting take. While momentum is there, I'm a bit wary of relying too heavily on 'macro tailwinds' for KWEB given recent regulatory shifts. What specifically are you seeing that suggests sustained support?

The macro tailwinds argument for Chinese tech is a bit thin considering the current economic data. Relying on daily ranges for a breakout prediction feels like wishful thinking, especially with that $29.50-$29.80 level being a clear ceiling for a while.

That's an interesting take on KWEB. I'm still trying to understand what's driving the 'macro tailwinds' you mentioned for the sector – could you elaborate a bit on that?
