Payout friction with certain prop firm models
Been trading with a few prop firms recently, and I'm starting to notice a real divergence in payout processing times and fees, especially when moving substantial sums. Some firms are slick, payout hitting the account within 24-48 hours after request, no questions asked, minimal wire fees. Others seem to nickel and dime you with every transaction, citing 'banking delays' or 'compliance checks' that stretch for days, sometimes a week. It makes me wonder if some of these firms are deliberately slow-playing payouts to optimize their own cash flow or if it's genuinely an infrastructure issue on their end. Has anyone else experienced a noticeable difference in payout efficiency between firms, particularly concerning the method and the associated friction? I'm not talking about small withdrawals, but rather profits that really start to matter.
