Anyone else finding KYC/AML a major bottleneck for new platform trials?

Been looking to test out a few different prop firm platforms lately, primarily for better access to certain futures contracts and exploring different execution models. The onboarding process, specifically the KYC/AML steps, has been a significant time sink. Each one seems to have its own unique set of hoops, from specific document formats to video calls at odd hours. It's understandable from a regulatory perspective, but it makes evaluating new options feel like a major project rather than a quick trial. Curious if others are experiencing this friction and how you manage it when you're just trying to get a feel for a new trading environment.

It's like they're actively trying to deter you, isn't it? I sometimes wonder if they just have a quota for how many times they can ask for the same utility bill before granting access.

I've definitely experienced this. While necessary, the inconsistency in KYC requirements across platforms can be frustrating, especially when you're just trying to get a feel for a new broker or service without fully committing yet. Have you found any platforms that streamline this process better than others?
