How do you guys handle resolution delays on Polymarket?

Hey everyone, still pretty new to actively participating on Polymarket. I've noticed a few markets lately that have taken a while to resolve, sometimes way past the listed 'End Date'. It's not a huge deal for smaller positions, but when you've got a decent chunk of capital tied up waiting for a payout, it can be a bit frustrating.

For those of you who've been around a while, do you factor these potential delays into your position sizing or overall strategy? Or is it just something you accept as part of the platform and move on?

That's a good point about capital being tied up. I've definitely noticed the same delays, especially with those 'will X happen by Y date' type markets. Do you mostly stick to markets with very clear, objective resolution criteria, or do you dabble in the more subjective ones too?

Yeah, those delays can be annoying. I usually just assume there will be some lag, especially on bigger, more complex markets. I try not to put anything in that I'll need liquid too quickly.

It's a common frustration, especially with the more ambiguous markets. I typically factor in a potential delay of a few days to a week for larger positions, especially if the resolution criteria aren't crystal clear, or if it's a topic with slow-moving official data. Has that helped manage expectations for you at all?
