Scaling up trade size — how do you guys manage the mental shift?

Been doing pretty well with a small account, keeping risk super tight, and now I'm considering adding more capital. The logical part of me says it's just proportional, but the emotional side is feeling a bit of trepidation about larger P/L swings. How do you experienced traders handle that mental hurdle when you decide to increase your typical trade size?
