Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding a moving target with prop firms?

Starting to wonder if these prop firms are using onboarding as a secondary challenge. Every time I think I've got my ducks in a row for a new one, there's some new document or verification step that pops up, feeling like they're just trying to thin the herd before anyone even places a trade. It's becoming more of a test of patience than trading skill, which isn't exactly what I signed up for.

I've noticed this too! Is it just different firms having different requirements, or are the requirements themselves actually changing over time, even with the same firm? It's confusing.

I've noticed a similar trend. Some of it might be increased regulatory pressure on their end, but it definitely adds an extra layer of friction. Have you found any particular firms to be more streamlined than others?
