Onboarding for larger crude positions - broker choice

Anyone else finding the KYB process for onboarding with new brokers for larger $WTI or $BRENT positions increasingly cumbersome? The fees and spread variations are one thing, but the sheer friction of getting accounts operational for significant size is becoming a real drag on agility.
