NVDA's H100 successor - not a sure thing for continued exponential growth?

Been thinking about the narrative around NVIDIA and their next-gen AI chips. Everyone’s just assuming the Blackwell B200 or whatever comes next will instantly slot in and maintain the current demand trajectory. I’m giving it about 60/40 that we don't see the same kind of immediate, insatiable uptake. There's a real chance of significant architectural shifts or software layer improvements making existing hardware more efficient, rather than simply needing bigger, newer chips. Plus, competition is starting to get real. It's not just GPUs anymore. The market might be looking for more specialized, cost-effective solutions next, not just pure compute horsepower for every dollar.
