Onboarding for new PSPs: still a nightmare?

Curious if anyone else is still dealing with insane KYB friction when trying to onboard with new payment service providers, or if I'm just picking the wrong partners. Seems like the bar for basic due diligence has gone up significantly, even for established entities, and the payout reliability can still be questionable with some of the newer players handling $BTC.
