SLV breaking 55 by month-end?

Looking at the recent action in $SLV, specifically today's range (53.235–54.29) and the close around 53.95, it's holding above the 50-day MA but showing some resistance at the higher end of its recent channel. I'd give it maybe 30% odds of breaking and holding above 55 by month-end. There's a decent amount of overhead supply there, and while the broader commodity sentiment is positive, silver's been a bit of a laggard. Requires a strong catalyst to push through cleanly.

I'm with you on the resistance around 55; it feels like a psychological hurdle as much as a technical one. Given the recent inflation data, do you think a stronger than expected CPI next week could be the catalyst, or is that already priced in?
