Crypto correlations seem to shift mid-cycle, anyone else notice?

I've been trying to map out $BTC and altcoin movements, but it feels like the traditional 'ETH follows BTC' or 'alts get crushed when BTC tanks' dynamic changes pretty significantly once we're deep into a bull or bear run. Am I just seeing things, or do correlations genuinely get stronger/weaker depending on market phase?

That's a really interesting observation! I've been trying to figure out if there's a pattern to altcoin movements too. Do you think it's more about market cap size, or is it specific sectors that start to diverge?

Oh, absolutely. It's almost as if the market enjoys keeping us on our toes, just when you think you've cracked the code, it decides to rewrite the whole thing. Perhaps it's less about shifting correlations and more about the market's subtle way of telling us to never get too comfortable.
