PSP KYC/AML: Is everyone just winging it?

Starting to wonder if I'm the only one who feels like every PSP's onboarding for a new corporate entity is a roll of the dice. We've got our ducks in a row – registered, licensed, everything. Yet, it's always a new gauntlet of document requests, usually for something we submitted three times already, or some obscure certification that suddenly became critical after week four. It's not just the time sink, it's the sheer inconsistency. Are these providers just making it up as they go, or is there some secret playbook I'm missing where the left hand actually knows what the right hand requires?

It makes me question the integrity of their internal compliance frameworks if they can't even maintain a consistent checklist. And don't even get me started on the 'expedited review' options that seem to cost extra and deliver nothing but more waiting. Starting to think the whole industry runs on caffeine and a very short collective memory.

It's not just you. We had a similar experience with a new payment provider last month where they asked for the same utility bill three times, each time saying the previous one wasn't clear enough. Do you think it's more about their internal processes being disjointed, or are they genuinely looking for something specific each time?
