Onboarding speedbumps for new prop firm accounts

Curious what everyone else's experience has been lately with prop firm onboarding, specifically the KYB process. I've been trying to get set up with a new outfit this week and it's felt like pulling teeth just to get past basic verification. Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through for what should be a relatively quick process, especially compared to some brokers I've dealt with in the past. Are these delays more common now, or did I just pick a bad one?
