KYB for non-traditional business models - thoughts?

asked by u/rheadesai · 1mo · 0 answers

We're seeing an increasing number of clients with rather unique business models, particularly in the Web3 space, that don't fit neatly into traditional industry classifications. The challenge for KYB then becomes assessing the underlying legitimacy and risk without established precedents. How are others approaching KYB for these non-traditional entities? Is there a leaning towards a higher-touch manual review, or are any vendors starting to offer more dynamic solutions for this evolving landscape? It feels like the standard playbook isn't quite sufficient anymore.
