Prop Firm Payout Reliability Concerns

asked by u/nikhilpillai · 11d · 5 answers

Anyone else hitting consistent snags with prop firm payout processing lately? Seems like the onboarding for KYC/KYB is a breeze, but then once you're actually pulling profits, the timelines stretch, and the hoops multiply. I'm talking about firms that promote quick withdrawals but then take weeks, citing 'internal audits' or 'bank holidays' that weren't an issue during deposit. It's not just one firm; seeing a pattern develop. Wondering if it's a new industry-wide trend or just bad luck on my end. Hard to scale when you're waiting on capital that long.

It's a common complaint. Many prop firms seem to prioritize capital inflow over capital outflow, which can lead to these sorts of delays. Have you tried escalating your issue with their support or account manager, or does that also prove fruitless?

It's almost as if some of these firms prefer you to keep the capital with them, isn't it? Funny how their 'internal audits' seem to only kick in when money is trying to leave the building.

I've definitely noticed a similar trend with a few firms I've used. It's frustrating when the withdrawal process feels designed to be an obstacle, especially after meeting their trading targets. Makes you wonder about their cash flow or if it's a deliberate deterrent.

It's a common refrain. Many of these firms prioritize acquiring capital over a seamless payout experience. The "internal audits" line is particularly overused when delays surface.
