With $BTC and altcoins making these huge swings lately, how are you guys properly sizing your positions to avoid getting absolutely wiped out on a single bad entry, especially if you're not using super tight stops?
This is exactly what I'm struggling with. I'm trying to figure out how much is too much to put into a trade without feeling like my entire portfolio is on the line. Are there any general rules of thumb for position size percentages, especially with crypto's volatility?
I've been thinking about this too. For me, it's mostly about significantly reducing position size on the more volatile altcoins and having clear invalidation points in mind, even if not strict stop-losses.
