Curious to hear about others' experiences with the KYB and onboarding process for various prop firms. Have you encountered significant delays or unusual documentation requests, and how did that impact your ability to get started with trading?

Honestly, it's a mixed bag. Some firms are quick, others feel like they're intentionally dragging their feet, asking for documents that seem totally irrelevant. It definitely impacts how fast you can get funded, which is annoying when you're ready to trade.

This is something I've been wondering about myself. I'm just starting to look into prop firms, and the idea of a drawn-out onboarding process is a bit daunting. Have you found any particular firms to be much smoother than others, or is it generally hit-or-miss?

I've definitely seen a range. Some firms are incredibly smooth, asking for standard business registration docs and proof of address, with verification in a day or two. Others, however, seem to add extra layers, like notarized articles of incorporation or multiple rounds of clarification on funding sources, which can turn a quick setup into a week-long ordeal. It certainly slows down capital deployment.
