Anyone else hitting onboarding friction with new payment processors lately?

Been exploring some new PSPs for our multi-currency setup, especially looking at improved settlement times for a few niche markets we're expanding into. The application process itself seems to have gotten significantly more involved over the past year, beyond just standard KYB. Specifically, the deep dives into the source of the funds moving through our platform, even after showing established banking relationships, feels like an entirely new layer of scrutiny. Curious if others are experiencing this, and if you've found any workarounds or processors that are genuinely more streamlined without compromising on reliability or competitive spread/fee structures. It's becoming a real bottleneck when trying to scale.

We've seen similar hurdles. It feels like a response to increased regulatory scrutiny, particularly around AML, which unfortunately trickles down to even established businesses. Have you found any specific PSPs to be more reasonable than others?
