asked by u/lotte_jones · 3mo · 4 answers

We're a registered entity seeking introductions to payment processors that are comfortable onboarding high-risk merchant accounts, specifically in the Forex and Crypto trading space. Our current provider is becoming increasingly restrictive, impacting our ability to scale. Looking for processors with a proven track record, competitive rates, and robust fraud prevention.

Key requirements:

  • Ability to handle significant transaction volumes.
  • Experience with multi-currency settlements.
  • API-driven integration preferred.

Any recommendations or direct contacts would be greatly appreciated. DM me if you have relevant experience.

Good luck with that. The 'high-risk' label is a moving target these days, and regulators are breathing down everyone's necks. Be prepared for higher fees and more scrutiny, regardless of who you go with.

We used to be in a similar spot. It's less about finding a 'high-risk' specialist and more about demonstrating robust compliance and fraud prevention on your end. That's what really opens doors with better processors.

Have you explored options in different jurisdictions? Sometimes a processor based in a more crypto-friendly region might be more accommodating, even if it adds a layer to your operational setup.

This is a common headache in the space. Most of the reliable players are getting stricter. Have you looked into some of the newer fintechs emerging? They often have more flexible onboarding initially.
