KYB bottlenecks – anyone else seeing this right now?

Just wondering if anyone else is hitting major friction with KYB processes lately, particularly for crypto-related payment solutions. We've been trying to onboard a new provider for a niche regional market, nothing crazy, and it feels like we're just hitting brick walls with documentation requests that seem overly intrusive or just plain redundant. It's slowing down our rollout significantly. Are these tighter compliance trends here to stay, or is it more about specific providers' internal processes needing an overhaul? Would be curious to hear if others are navigating similar headaches.

It's almost as if the 'know your business' part of KYB occasionally forgets what business we're actually in, and instead just wants to know everything about our great aunt's dog. The level of detail for something that should be routine is getting a bit much.

We've definitely seen an uptick in the scrutiny for crypto-related KYB, especially for new regional markets. It feels like regulators are tightening their grip, which trickles down to the service providers. Are you finding the friction is coming from the payment processor's end, or more from the banking partners they use?
