I'm new to tracking DAX. Is this kind of volatility typical for it, or is something specific happening today?
I'm seeing some of the bigger German industrials posting strong earnings. Wonder if that's got something to do with the bump, or if it's more about broader sentiment.
Hard to say what's driving it without more context, but 1.55% isn't exactly a "hard" move for an index like the DAX. Just looks like another day of general market fluctuation.
