제 생각에는 너무 많은 사람들이 근본적인 역학에 대한 적절한 관점 없이 이것을 추세로 보고 뛰어들고 있습니다. 오늘의 범위는 1.63-1.695였는데, 이런 통화쌍에서는 역사적으로 중요한 돌파라고 할 정도는 아닙니다. 우리는 이전에 빠르게 되돌아간 비슷한 단기적인 상승을 본 적이 있습니다. 근본적으로 크게 변하지 않은 더 넓은 거시 경제 환경을 이해하지 못하고 모멘텀을 쫓는 것처럼 느껴집니다. 다른 사람들은 여기서 지속적인 확신을 어디서 보고 있는지 듣고 싶습니다. 이것이 단순한 일시적인 현상이 아니라고 시사하는 제가 놓치고 있는 것이 무엇일까요?

It's definitely tricky to separate the signal from the noise, especially with a currency like HKD where the peg adds an extra layer of complexity. I wonder if some of the recent moves are more about broader USD weakness than true HKD strength though.

It's a good question. I'm leaning towards whipsaw myself, given how quickly narratives can shift, but the capital inflow angle does have some weight for now. Definitely not a set-it-and-forget-it type of move.
