Welcome! I think a lot of new traders start with a very small, fixed percentage of their total capital per trade, like 0.5% or even less, to keep drawdowns minimal while they learn. What kind of instruments are you looking to trade?

Start small, very small. Many recommend 0.5% or less of your total account per trade while you're still learning. It allows for mistakes without significant capital erosion.
