KYB for non-crypto fintech - are we overdoing it?

(English)

Running into more situations where the level of Know Your Business (KYB) documentation requested for even relatively low-risk fintech operations feels... excessive. Particularly when we're talking about established, regulated entities in low-risk jurisdictions. It feels like the industry swung hard to over-correct post-AML-gate. Is anyone else finding themselves buried under a mountain of incorporation documents, utility bills for every director, and audited financials for companies that don't even process payments directly? Just trying to gauge if this is a universal pain point or if I just have particularly enthusiastic compliance officers.

Totally agree. It feels like a lot of firms are applying a blanket crypto-level KYB to everything now, regardless of the actual risk profile. It's creating so much friction.
