(English)

This is really helpful! So if I understand correctly, the 1-2% rule isn't just about how much I'm willing to lose on a trade, but also directly influences how many shares or contracts I should buy based on where my stop loss is set? I'm curious if there are common pitfalls people encounter when trying to implement this beyond just the percentage.

While the 1-2% rule is fundamental, I often see traders misinterpret how to correctly calculate the position size based on their stop loss. The math needs to be precise, or that 1-2% can quickly become something much higher.

This is a great point! I've always just focused on the percentage, but thinking about how the stop loss plays into the actual number of shares or units makes a lot more sense for managing the real dollar risk. So if my stop is tighter, I can take a larger position, right?
