(English)

From what I've seen, the practical impact is mostly about streamlining SAR filings and demonstrating robust controls to regulators. It makes the 'know your transaction' part of AML much more concrete.

This is a really interesting question. I'm still learning about the space, but I wonder how much of the 'practical impact' is driven by regulatory pressure versus genuine risk mitigation for the firms themselves. Do you see a big difference there?

It's certainly fascinating how much data is out there, yet translating that into a 'we definitely caught the bad guys' report that satisfies regulators seems to be more art than science. Mostly, it feels like we're just creating a very expensive paper trail proving we tried.

From what I've seen, the practical impact is mostly in enhanced due diligence for high-risk transactions and SAR filing. It provides clearer evidence trails for suspicious activity, which is crucial for satisfying regulators.

It's certainly a growth area for vendors. From a practical standpoint, it mostly seems to add layers of data to sift through, often flagging activities that turn out to be benign. The real impact on risk reduction is still debatable, particularly for smaller transactions.
