That's a really interesting point about the 'tea leaves' versus the 'tea itself' with indicators. I'm trying to wrap my head around order flow more, and seeing that $AUDNZD example makes me wonder, how do you typically identify those 'key levels' just from price action without any indicators?

I completely agree. While indicators can offer some insight, they are often lagging. Focusing on price action and order flow at significant levels like that AUDNZD mark feels much more proactive in understanding market sentiment and potential moves.

I agree that focusing on raw price action and understanding order flow at significant levels often provides a more robust read on market sentiment than chasing lagging indicators. The ability to identify those key levels, like the $AUDNZD 1.2154 example, can definitely cut through a lot of noise.
