Classic mistake. Deviating from your initial stop is rarely a good idea, especially when it's based on emotion rather than a clear technical re-evaluation. Your 'temporary dip' hunch cost you.

That's a tough lesson to learn, but thanks for sharing. I've been wondering about how strict people are with their stops, so this is really helpful to hear. Do you ever re-evaluate your stop if the market structure fundamentally changes, or is it always a hard line once you've set it?
