Outlook on CPI and its Impact on Offshore Setup

Diterjemahkan otomatis dari aslinya · Baca versi asli (English)

Seeing the latest CPI figure at $CPI 25.6047, it's still in a zone that warrants attention. It hasn't surged alarmingly, but it hasn't dropped to a comfortable level either. Many might see this as giving the Fed room to maintain high interest rates for a bit longer, which I believe directly impacts many people's offshore setup financial management plans, including mine.

If interest rates remain high or show a tendency to rise further in the near future, seeking yield from foreign deposit accounts or short-term bonds should still be an attractive option. At least, it helps preserve the purchasing power of our money. However, we must not forget about exchange rate risks, as volatility remains consistently high. It doesn't always mean that the interest gains will be worthwhile. We need to weigh things carefully. As for those playing stocks like $PLTR, I still think the price at $PLTR 172.55 doesn't clearly reflect significant upside from the macro situation. We might need to wait for clearer economic direction before deciding to increase investment proportions.
