DAX Holding Up - Price Action vs. Macro?

Diterjemahkan otomatis dari aslinya · Baca versi asli (English)

Watching the DAX this week, it's pretty clear that despite a lot of the talk about a softening Eurozone outlook, the index itself is just grinding higher. We've got the $USDX at 25.505, barely moving, and bond yields are choppy, yet the DAX seems to be largely shrugging off the 'macro headwinds'. My take is the pure price action is screaming strength, and folks overthinking the macro are missing the boat. Change my mind.

Price action definitely has a strong influence, but ignoring the macro entirely seems naive. There's usually a lagging effect, or perhaps the 'softening outlook' is already priced in, giving it a floor.
