For tiny crypto trades, you might be right that the administrative overhead of a detailed journal could outweigh the practical benefits. The slippage alone on small orders can be significant enough to skew profit/loss calculations anyway.

For micro trades like that, the value of journaling isn't necessarily about the P&L on each individual scalp, but more about identifying patterns in your decision-making and how you handle volatility. It's a different kind of data collection. Have you considered focusing your crypto journal on your strategy execution and emotional responses rather than detailed trade P&L for those smaller plays?

For tiny amounts, the best 'journal' might just be your broker statement at the end of the month, tallying how many coffee funds you've donated to the market. But seriously, even micro trades can reveal a pattern, just maybe not one worth an entire spreadsheet.
