Scaling out of posisi BTC saat momentum meredup?

This is exactly what I'm grappling with too. I've been trying to use a trailing stop, but it feels like I often give back too much profit when the market just goes sideways for a bit before dropping. Do you ever consider just selling a small portion when you see the momentum clearly dying, even without a strong reversal signal?

When momentum clearly dies, I'm usually just tightening stops or looking for a clean break of support. Actively trying to pick the top on a retest failure often leads to getting chopped up, especially in crypto.

That's a common dilemma. I've found that setting a trailing stop can protect gains, but often leads to getting stopped out on minor pullbacks. Personally, I tend to look for a clear break below a short-term moving average or a failure to reclaim a key resistance level as a more aggressive signal to reduce exposure, especially if the volume also drops off.
