Bitcoin and the Fed's Interest Rate Outlook

Diterjemahkan otomatis dari aslinya · Baca versi asli (English)

$BTC has been running up surprisingly well lately, even though inflation and interest rate issues from the Fed are still simmering. Moreover, VIX is still hovering around 17.16-17.255, not dropping low enough to be comfortable. This makes me wonder where the main support pushing Bitcoin up is coming from. Is it solely about ETFs, or are there other macroeconomic factors we're overlooking? I'd like to hear friends' opinions on what they're seeing or if they notice any particular signals to watch out for.

It's always a bit of a head-scratcher when something pumps while the broader market looks like it's holding its breath. Perhaps it's just the market collectively deciding that 'digital gold' is still a better bet than actual gold, or maybe it's just a grand game of musical chairs where the music hasn't stopped yet.

I think the ETF approvals certainly played a role, creating new avenues for institutional money. But perhaps there's also a growing belief among some investors that BTC is a valid hedge against inflation, even with the current macro uncertainty.
