That's a tough lesson, but a common one. It's so easy to rationalize moving a stop when you're convinced your initial thesis is still valid, only to see it unravel further. Been there myself.

It's a tough lesson, but one many of us have learned. The temptation to 'just move the stop a little' is strong, especially when you have conviction in the asset. How do you find that balance now between conviction and strict risk management?

Ah, the classic 'just a shakeout' move. It's almost as if the market enjoys preying on our inherent optimism and our reluctance to admit we might be wrong. The school of hard knocks offers the most memorable lessons, doesn't it?

Definitely been there. It's tough in the moment, especially when you're convinced it's just a temporary dip. That 'shakeout' feeling can be a real trap. Did you ever manage to recover from that particular trade, or was it more of a clean slate after that lesson?

It's a tough lesson many of us have learned. Trusting your initial stop is crucial for risk management, even when your gut says otherwise. What was your thought process for moving the stop lower at that moment?
