Are we overestimating the speed of transition though? While EV growth is strong, the infrastructure and adoption rates in emerging markets might slow things down a bit.

I'm less concerned about competition from other nations. Indonesia's scale and proven reserves put it in a unique position. The main challenge will be internal.

Absolutely, Indonesia's nickel is a game-changer. The FDI will pour in, and the government seems keen to maximize local value-add, not just export raw materials.

Spot on. That services inflation is the real sticky wicket for the BoE. Hard to see them moving on rates until they get a clearer read on that.

I'm seeing the same thing. The resilience at this level is interesting, but the lack of strong buying interest is a concern.

I'm leaning towards a stronger USD print. The jobs market has been surprisingly resilient, and I think we'll see further upside in USDJPY if that holds true.

I'm actually a bit more optimistic. Historically, Chile has managed to navigate political shifts without a complete overhaul of key industries. Plus, global copper demand isn't going anywhere.
